Hit The mountain trails in Whistler
Hike. Bike. Marvel.
Whistler is a stunning, world-class destination for hikers, bikers and backpackers. Alpine meadows, sprawling glaciers, soaring evergreens, bright blue lakes and indigenous wildlife are just some of the natural wonders to be experienced on Whistler's miles and miles of hiking, biking and walking trails.
In summer, the snows of Whistler’s world-famous ski runs recede and unveil a mind-boggling array of trails that spread across the valley, around the lakes and up the slopes. Hikers flock to Whistler in all seasons and enjoy a wide choice of trails that include easy, intermediate and advanced.
Bikers can enjoy epic cross-country tours, free riding, downhill adrenalin rides or just a relaxing pedal through old- growth forest. In August Whistler hosts Kokanee Crankworx, one of the world’s premier Mountain Bike Festivals. The Cheakamus Challenge Fall Classic, a 70-km (43-mi) point-to-point race featuring big climbs and single track, is held each September.
