March 10 - March 11
Junior Canadian Championships 2016 - Luge - Come and cheer on athletes as they compete on the fastest track in the world at the Whistler Sliding Centre. Guests can spectate the heats for free and may access the Sliding Centre via the Excalibur Gondola for free without ski or snowboard gear. The Whistler Sliding Centre is located on the right as you exit the gondola, across from Parking Lot 8. Official training takes place March 10 from 11 AM to 1 PM and the race is March 11 from 9 AM to 11 AM.

Winemaker Après Series - Held at Steeps Grill & Wine Bar on Whistler Mountain, the Après Series allows you to sample the British Columbia inspired menu paired with wines from the best that BC has to offer. Four dates: Inniskillin Winery on Thursday, January 21; Ruffino Winery on Wednesday February 24; Robert Mondavi Winery on Thursday, March 10; Nk’Mip Cellars on Thursday, March 31. Kokanee Valley Race Series - The Kokanee Valley Race Series is held on Thursdays throughout the winter season. The series is open to skiers, telemarkers and snowboarders with different gender and age divisions. No racing experience is required to join in on the fun of recreational racing. BC Championships – Luge - Come and cheer on local BC luge athletes as they compete on the fastest track in the world at the Whistler Sliding Centre. Only once you have seen these athletes in action on the track will you believe the phenomenal speeds they reach.

Robert Mondavi Mountain Wine Tour - Celebrating Whistler Blackcomb and Robert Mondavi’s 50th birthdays, spend the day on a guided ski/snowboard tour of Whistler Blackcomb while visiting some of its most iconic food and beverage locations including: Crystal Hut, Christine’s, Raven’s Nest and Steeps. Sunday Morning Yoga - Join Lululemon Athletica for a complimentary yoga class.

Fire & Ice Show - This legendary, free outdoor show is held every Sunday at the base of the mountains in Whistler Village. Dress warm, grab a cup of hot chocolate and prepare to be amazed by the live entertainment including ski and snowboard big air displays, fire spinners, live DJs and fireworks display - it's guaranteed fun for the entire family. Following the show, head over to the Garibaldi Lift Co. (GLC) for the notorious Afterburn Party (Adults only after 8 PM).

March 17 - March 20
The GoPro Junior Freeski Event - This IFSA event challenges competitors 12-18 years old to shred big mountain terrain, while judges score them based on style, speed, and line choice. For more information on entry fee and registration, please call the Whistler Blackcomb Reservation Centre at 1.800.766.0449. Throughout Whistler, many lights will dim in support and celebration of Earth Hour between 8:30 PM and 9:30 PM. Visitors and locals who would like to come participate in Earth Hour can head over to Whistler Olympic Plaza for a special candle-lit family skate night until 9 PM hosted by the Resort Municipality of Whistler.

Ronald McDonald House BC Ski Challenge - Take part in a friendly ski and snowboard race with celebrity skiers and enjoy a welcome party and après-ski banquet dinner. The Ronald McDonald House BC Ski Challenge offers two days of fun on and off the slopes, raising money for children with serious illnesses, disabilities or chronic conditions and the families who support them.
