Getting Here

From Seattle:

Whistler is conveniently located about a four to five-hour drive from Seattle. The journey to Vancouver typically takes about three hours, followed by an additional two-hour drive from Vancouver to Whistler, depending on road and traffic conditions. Don’t forget your passport! You will need it when you get to the border crossing.

• Drive Time: Approximately 4-5 hours
• Route: Take Interstate 5 (I-5) north to the U.S.-Canada Douglas Border crossing (Peace Arch)
• Distance to Border: 100 miles or 176 km
  • Wait Times: Can vary, with longer waits on weekends
  • Border Crossing Tips: Ensure you have a valid passport for the border crossing

From Vancouver:

• Drive Time: Approximately 2 hours, depending on road and traffic conditions
• Route Options:
  • Scenic Route: Through downtown Vancouver
  • Direct Route: Via Highway 15 to The Trans Canada (Highway 1)

From Vancouver International Airport:
